INTERNET SAFETY WEEK 2017

This week is 'Internet Safety Week' and children across Ireland are learning to be safer online and how to protect themselves against cyber bullying. In class this week we spent time discussing ways to stay safe online and how we are all responsible for a safer internet.  We recommend that parents take the time to visit the website www.webwise.ie for more information on keeping children safe online.

Bizworld Bank Of Ireland Competition

This week in the senior room we had great fun presenting our ideas to the 'Dragon in the Den.'  The competition was very interesting, we learned all about setting up your own business and lots of new business vocabulary.  We would like to thank Sheila Fallon from Bank of Ireland for helping the us develop our ideas. 

Fifth and Sixth class Art

We are preparing our designs for screen printing. This month we are learning all about fabric printing.

We are learning all about Ancient Egypt in second and third class.

Today Mrs O Conor's room were creating clothes out of fabric and old materials and dressing their paper figures up

In the infant classroom the children are learning all about weather. In art class they painted colourful umbrellas using the primary colours.
First class loved discovering all about the weather in Antartica.

Children from first class were learning about rows and columns on the 100 square and how to count on.

Aistear -Junior and Senior Infants have been learning about the weather.
